Story Winery’s tasting room and picnic grounds are available daily with complimentary wine tasting. Effective November 7, 2011, our tasting room will return to Winter hours and will be open Monday through Friday from 12 pm to 4 pm; Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm.

The 2010 Zinfandel Futures are in the bottle and ready for aging!

Bring your friends and enjoy savory hors d’oeuvres while sipping the 2011 vintage from the barrel and sampling the 2010′s. You and your guests may arrive anytime between 10 am and 1 pm. While these parties are exclusive until 1 pm, the tasting room and winery will remain open until 5 pm.

Santa will be here on Saturday, December 17th to collect all the toys and deliver them to the local CHP office for distribution in the CHiPS for Kids program, benefiting hospitalized and less-fortunate children throughout Amador County.

Santa’s Treats and Story Wines…this is not your average wine and food pairing. From candy canes and gingerbread cookies, to truffles and fruitcake(?!?) we’re pairing…

Join us for this annual celebration of the Repeal of Prohibition. Our halls are decked in our holiday finest and we are ready to share a toast in honor of the anniversary of the 21st Amendment.
We will be rolling back the prices on our noble zins and offering sampling of the 2011 vintage from the barrel. Also on the agenda, our customary level of fun, food and fine Story wines.
Period costumes are encouraged.
